Fair Warning: This story is going to be about a magic pregnancy and a yuri(lesbian) couple so if you don't like that then don't read it. I don't want to receive complaints just cause this isn't to your tastes.

-----------------------------------------------

It was nice and quiet as Hazel settled into her comfortable chair after having an exhausting day, wanting nothing more than to just relax and read in peace as she had a book opened while resting it on her large belly. Due to Hazel being a bit on the small side, her pregnancy appeared to be bigger on her than it would on a normal woman as she looked like she could be due any day now. The child inside her belly was still, most likely sleeping which worked out well for her as she wanted silence and to be left with nothing to bother her reading time.

Then out of nowhere a sharp, loud whistle sounds off right next to Hazel's ear, causing the petite woman to scream as she throws the book into the air. If she wasn't held down by her pregnancy she probably would've bolted out of the chair itself as well. Soon after the whistle disappears she hears a familiar laughter behind her while she has a hand clamped to her chest, trying to get her breathing back to normal. Recognizing the laughter Hazel groans as she becomes more irritated than scared.

"Damn it Laurel! You're a total bitch, you know that?!" she shouts as another young woman moves in front of her, wearing a look of amusement on her face that showed total satisfaction.

"Yeah, I know, but I needed to try out my new items on someone and I just couldn't resist sneaking up on you." Laurel replies as she gives Hazel a pat on the head while the pregnant woman sighs.

"Speaking of sneaking, how the hell did you manage to get behind me so silently? I could've sworn that you're elsewhere in the house the entire time I was here up to the point where you almost gave me a heart attack." Hazel looks up and down Laurel's body, soon taking notice of the boots and gloves that weren't commonly worn by the woman considering she loves to keep her hands and feet bare at all times for some unknown reason.

Laurel simply smiles as she shows off the gloves and boots, knowing Hazel had caught onto them. "This is my latest creation. I've created boots and gloves that don't make a single sound thanks to the enchantments I applied to them. I could jump up and down all I want and I still wouldn't make a sound." she explains, jumping up and down to prove her point as not a single noise was made from her pounding the boots into the floor repeatedly.

Hazel gives another sigh at the realization that Laurel had created yet another unusual object to sell to the public. Laurel was a rather unique merchant in that she would buy common objects from others and then tweak them with magic in order to make them even better than before by giving them abilities that fit in with the objects. Along with her natural talent and imagination for creating unusual but useful things she also has a natural talent for selling them which leaves her with quite a lot of money on hand which goes into enchanting even more objects for even more profit.

Hazel crosses her arms and rests them on her belly as she looks up to Laurel. "You meant to tell me you created a pair of gloves and boots that let you move around without a sound just so you could sneak up on me? What use could they have for the customers aside from giving people the ability to scare the crap out of each other all the time?" she was sure Laurel had a good reason for creating such a thing but at the moment she was in a bit bad mood cause she hated it when Laurel would use her new creations to mess with her in some way.

"Well, since they allow people to move in silence I imagine they would be great for traveling around. Just think about it, with these boots you could travel around without making footsteps no matter what the terrain is, meaning you won't draw in attention to yourself by making noise. You could walk behind a dangerous monster and they won't notice you unless they see or smell you since they wouldn't be able to hear you. With these boots traveling will be a lot fast and safer. The gloves are an extra in case you need to climb something." Laurel explains, already having a clear goal in mind.

Hazel nods, honestly impressed after hearing just how useful the boots and gloves could be. Laurel definitely wasn't the kind of woman that would just imagine about useful things, she knew how to bring them into the real world as well. She also seemed to know just what people would need and focus entirely on that, leading to her creating a great number of useful objects in the past. The only object Laurel created that was a failure or rather unfinished product was currently sitting on the middle finger of Hazel's left hand which she takes a glance at. "By the way, are you any closer to figuring out how to get this off of me?"

Laurel gives a sigh, having heard this question countless times before as she shakes her head. "No. By now you should know that enchanting an object isn't that simple, I have to build the enchantments from scratch and work on them continuously from start to finish. The amount of time it takes to complete one could vary from weeks to months to even years. Using an object while it's unfinished is going to lead to some unknown results which is what exactly happened even after I warned you not to touch anything without my permission the first time you came here..."

Hazel sighs gently, expecting that answer but it didn't stop her from asking. The ring on her hand was a simple green loop that was being worked on around the time she stumbled across it and tried it on out of curiosity and interest. After putting it on she found that she couldn't get it off again and after Laurel found her she learned that the ring had a complex enchantment on it that would enable a woman that were incapable of getting pregnant to have children. The ring would bless them with a child if they put it on while thinking about the person they wanted to have children with which lead to Hazel's current predicament. The pregnancy Hazel carried was not only a product of the ring but the child she was carrying was both hers and Laurel's due to her thinking about Laurel at the time the ring her put on.

According to Laurel since the ring was put on before being finished it might be possible that the ring won't come off until the pregnancy had finished itself but that theory was dismissed after Hazel passed her ninth month and then her tenth and then her eleventh. As it stood Hazel was currently on her fifteenth month of pregnancy with no end in sight. Thankfully the baby had stopped growing after reaching the end of the ninth month so Hazel was still able to manage moving around and looked like she was a normal woman that was ready to pop, but at the rate she was going it looked like she was going to remain pregnant for the rest of her life or until Laurel could find an end for it, whichever came first.

Hazel was pulled out of her thoughts when she feels something on her belly, turning back to Laurel to find that the woman had pulled up Hazel's shirt and was nuzzling up to the large orb of flesh. Laurel simply loved to put her face onto Hazel's belly, often kissing it or listening to it as she gave attention to the child that was just as much her own as it was Hazel's. Hazel couldn't help but smile at the sight, finding it adorable whenever Laurel was giving her share of the attention to the child, especially after she had just finished focusing on a big project that kept their interactions to a minimum.

"You probably woke her up with that loud whistle of yours. I swear, if she's kicking me all night long you can forget about sleeping with me tonight." Hazel warns Laurel while still smiling at the merchant, knowing that it wouldn't be nothing new since most of the time Laurel just fell asleep in whatever spot she was in while working, leading to Hazel sometimes stumbling upon her in an awkward and occasionally humorous sleeping pose.

Laurel looks up to Hazel while resting her chin on the pregnant belly, smiling herself. "Aw, come on. You know how hard I work to keep us warm and well-fed, the least you could to do is let me cuddle up to you and our child on the nights I'm free from working. Besides, your belly is just so warm, it's like sleeping next to the fireplace." she leans up more and gives Hazel a gentle kiss on the lips.

It was rather interesting how this unusual pregnancy has made them into a proper couple. Their first interaction was when Hazel visited Laurel while the merchant was selling her items to customers. A few visits and conversations later lead to Laurel inviting Hazel over to her home as they got to know each other. After the ring incident Hazel had to move in Laurel just in case any complications happened with the pregnancy caused by the unfinished ring. During this time they closer than ever before to the point where feelings of love starting popping up and before they realized it they started acting like a married couple, sharing kissing and even having intercourse on occasion though it was a bit awkward with Hazel's belly taking up space.

Laurel had taken up to being a 'father' quite well as she did everything she could to make sure Hazel was well taken care of and has had plenty of moments where she would dump what she was working on in a heartbeat if she felt like something was wrong with Hazel. With Laurel always being there Hazel was able to handle her pregnancy much better than she could've alone, making her truly grateful to have someone like Laurel with her along the way. Hazel was certain Laurel would find a way for their child to be born but for now she had to be patient which was rather easy thanks to support Laurel lent.

After the kiss finishes Hazel holds out her arms. "Help me up."

Laurel smirks as she stands upright. "Surely you could manage that on your own."

"Laurel, I'm 15 months pregnant and exhausted. Believe me, this child doesn't get lighter the more I carry her."

Laurel giggles. "Tell you what. Since I'm ahead of schedule I could work on something that will enable you to carry that belly like it's full of air. It'll really take the weight off of your back and feet."

"I would appreciate that a lot. However there is still the issue of me getting up right now."

Laurel takes Hazel's hands and pulls the smaller woman onto her feet. Giving her love support Laurel guides them to the bedroom in order to get some rest and to do some catching up.
This is more a short story I came up with which I thought would be cute to try out. Whether I continue on it or not in the future really depends on if I decide to personally.
